Better AWS Monitoring with TrueSight Pulse

Monitor EBS, EC2, ElastiCache, EMR, RDS, SNS, SQS and more

Supercharge AWS Monitoring with TrueSight Pulse

Take control of AWS monitoring with TrueSight Pulse. Pulse is a better option for monitoring, visualizing and alerting on AWS instances directly or integrating AWS Cloudwatch metrics into a unified view of your entire IT infrastructure.

Amazon provides the AWS Cloudwatch service for monitoring AWS services and billing. A limited free tier is available. The limitations include 5-minute resolution and a fixed number of dashboards, metrics, alarms and data. You can upgrade the service but at a significant cost: you’ll pay for each additional dashboard, instance, alarm, metric as well as additional data used. AWS Cloudwatch has another limitation – it only works for AWS. You cannot view other cloud or on-premise infrastructure in Cloudwatch dashboards. Which means you have yet another monitoring tools to deal with.

TrueSight Pulse frees you from those AWS Cloudwatch limitations by giving you real-time, one-second monitoring of EC2 instances with no additional fees for dashboard, metrics or alarms. Pulse can also leverage the AWS Cloudwatch metrics you already have and integrate them into a unified dashboard with your other infrastructure and applications. This makes for better AWS monitoring than what you get with AWS Cloudwatch alone.

And we do it seamlessly: Give TrueSight Pulse your AWS IAM user credentials and it will automatically discover all of your AWS CloudWatch services and resources, start monitoring, set some key metric alarms and visualize the data in real-time graphs. No installation or configuration – all of the work is done by TrueSight Pulse and the whole process takes seconds. Once set up, you’ll also be free from AWS Cloudwatch static graphing and you’ll be able to collaborate and share dashboards with anyone. Yet more good reasons to supercharge your AWS monitoring with TrueSight Pulse!
